Seasonal Operations Associate (Repair) - training

Swappie is looking for Seasonal Operations Associates to help out during the busy period (until the end of October). This role differs from our shorter work bits, as this invitation is for a long workbit to complete training for the role. We will be providing full paid training from August 24 to September 11 to handle slightly more complex tasks on electronics' journey through our refurbishment operation. After successfully completing the training, candidates will be invited to GWB hubs. We are looking for candidates who can regularly take shifts throughout the full period (Monday to Friday): Training until mid-September and shifts until the end of October.

Workers who demonstrate a great fit and strong performance may be offered a long-term contract.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:

- Electronics repair and quality checks
- Working with and sorting spare parts
- Picking & shelving of electronics
- Internal delivery of electronics, spare parts & other light goods
- Unboxing, activating & Diagnosing electronics
- Preparing electronics for checking (cleaning, sorting)
- Other tasks related to electronics refurbishment

IMPORTANT!

⁃ ❗️ We will provide full training from August 24 to September 11 ; therefore, 100% attendance is required. This training will be conducted during the day shift (8.00-16.00). After the training, work continues in the standard rotation (6.00-14.00 or 14.00-22.00) - before applying make sure you are later available for these shifts as well and state that in your application.

- You will be able to take other shifts via Hubs only after completing that training.
- This is a high commitment position, where we expect regular attendance of 100%.

- Valid ID required for site entry each work day.

Work environment

DO's:
1. Wear separate, protective closed-toe indoor shoes in the production area
2. Follow occupational health, safety, fire safety and hygiene requirements

1. Do not enter restricted areas without authorisation
2. Do not watch videos, play games, or make personal video/phone calls in the production area
3. Do not work under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other impairing substances

Breaks and lunch

Depending on the length of oh the shift, for any shifts longer than 6 hours, there will be one 30-minute paid break.

We recommend bringing your own packed lunch in a see-through container, as we only have limited options in the vending machines.

How to get there

We are located at Saeveski 10a, near Järve Keskus.

For public transport, please take bus lines 5, 18, 18A, 32, 36, 45, or 57 to the "Risti" stop. From there, our office is an easy five-minute walk.

We also offer free, private parking on site in our employee lot for registered vehicles. We will provide the necessary registration details and instructions on your first day.
